It is a top priority for TF Faculty of Semmelweis University to deepen its international relations, to enhance the mobility of student sand teachers and to further develop research cooperation.
The most important international activity is the fostering of relations with foreign universities. Today, TF Faculty maintain contacts with about 40 foreign higher education institutions, mostly European but also some American ones. Thanks to Hungary’s accession to the European Union, the university fully participates in the union’s mobility schemes, the Erasmus, Leonardo and other programmes. Our objective is to continuously increase the number of students and teachers who participate in international education and exchange programmes.
TF Faculty of Semmelweis University is a truly international community. The Faculty offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level in Hungarian and English. Besides the foreign students, the various departments receive foreign professors and delegations on a regular basis and organise conferences and consultations for them.
Semmelweis University is a full member of the most important international higher education organisations, including the International Association of Universities (IAU), the European University Association (EUA) and the Danube Rectors Conference (DRC).
