In a bid to foster international cooperation and expand its global network, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) recently embarked on a significant diplomatic mission to China.
Led by Dr habil. Judit Kádár, Director of International Relations, and Gábor Csele, International Referent, the two-person delegation embarked on a journey aimed at revitalizing partnerships and forging new alliances in the Far East in the realm of sports education and training.
The delegation's itinerary was packed with engagements designed to reignite relationships with esteemed partners such as Ningbo University, Shanghai Lixin University and Shandong Sport University. Additionally, they sought to establish connections with potential collaborators, including Shanghai University of Sport and Suzhou University Department of Physical Education.
The delegation also delved into substantial discussions regarding collaborative initiatives, exploring various areas of partnership, including joint training programs, student and staff mobility, particularly focusing on full-time coach training spanning - BA and MSc degrees - International Coaching Course, the newly launched International Training Course, and the International Sports Diplomacy Postgraduate Specialization Programme.
Crucially, discussions also revolved around scholarship opportunities. The delegation engaged in talks concerning the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program and explored avenues for collaboration on the newly minted Pannonia Scholarship Program.
Ultimately, the primary objective of the trip was to bolster HUSS commitment to internationalization. With fruitful discussions and promising prospects, the delegation's efforts proved successful in showcasing the dedication of HUSS to fostering global cooperation in the realm of sports education and beyond. As the world grows increasingly interconnected, initiatives like these serve as stepping stones towards a more collaborative and mutually enriching future.
